To enrol in ICTQual AB Level 6 International Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, learner must meet the following entry requirements:
- Age Requirement: Learners must be at least 19 years old at the time of registration.
- Educational Background: A recognised Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in engineering, petroleum studies, physics, geology, or a related technical discipline.Learners without formal academic qualifications may still be considered if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude, relevant prior experience, or exposure to petroleum engineering concepts.
- Professional Experience: Fresh learners may apply directly through the standard entry route.Experienced professionals with 6 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, drilling operations, petroleum production, reservoir engineering, or related fields may be eligible for entry through the professional experience route.
- English Proficiency: Learners are required to demonstrate proficiency in English, both written and spoken, to successfully engage with course materials, complete assignments, and participate in discussions. Acceptable proof may include previous education in English or a recognised English language qualification, such as IELTS or equivalent.
- Additional Requirement: Commitment to completing theoretical and practical components across the 3-year, 360-credit programme.
